Why Aquaman #1 annoyed me

Another pleasant diversion from a blog long gone, Aquaman has been one of the few consistent members of the New 52, so prepare for another article on him soon.

Just a quick one today, touching briefly on the subject of a single issue of the New 52 re releases. Aquaman.

Now I'm aware that he isn't the most popular super hero, and ever since Family Guy jumped onboard the "Lets rag on Aquaman" train, my affection for him has become even less understood.

Crusader Kings GoT Mod: Part 1

A very different Westeros in screen shots: Game of Thrones

After the inferior part 1 and it's success, here is the greatly improved Part 2

A hilarious little filler of an article, hopefully going to lead to other, full play-throughs of the popular Game of Thrones Mod for Crusader Kings 2. Also, just in case anyone gets confused, this is clearly a terrible fictional universe where the lord of Tarth was a completely retard.

I'm actually hoping the show ends up this way (Also, please excuse Brienne face, as you can tell, they are hit and miss, I could probably dedicate an article to hilarious looking character alone)

Assassin's Creed 3 and the DLC of Doom.

Cast your mind back to February, Assassin's Creed fans, when we received our first look at AC3, I don't know about you, but I was excited, I sent that picture to everyone I could remember who liked the franchise, and probably a few who didn't, then came the list of promises from several people behind the project, and it sounded really good. Words were being thrown around like 'from the ground up' 'brand new engine' and 'twice as many man hours put in compared to Assassin's Creed 2'. I think we can safely say that was when excited hit it's zenith.

The face that launched a thousand links

But Aaron, you yell out to my ivory tower, why have you decided to tell us now what you thought of Assassin's Creed back then. And I reply to your very specific question, "For an interesting Juxtaposition to highlight just how far Assassin's Creed 3 has fallen in my regard from it's announcement to the point we find ourselves at". It is a shameless attempt I know, but it was inspired by a piece of news I saw today about more stuff planned for Assassin's Creed 3, and I just stopped caring, and I figured that was in itself worth documenting.

The Dark Knight Rises Review

If you even got past the caps without immediately grabbing your coat and cap and running right out the door in an instant to go and watch the next showing of The Dark Knight rises, preferably in IMAX where I saw it, then you are not only a damn fool, but also in for a slightly longer review.

Review: Batman Arkham City Album

I've dug up this review from the Aaron Vault Archives to commemorate Arkham City Steam summer sale, this is a small article I wrote on the music of Arkham City just before it's release onto PC (I was really bored of waiting). So without further ado, thought long deceased, uncut and unedited, the Batman Arkham City Music Roundup.

As you may or may not be aware, I cannot play the long awaited sequel to Arkham Asylum. (Long awaited being roughly when I finished AA). So to pass what I have, in my more polite moments of drunk rage "The long week", I invested the Arkham City soundtrack, DC can consider that a successful marketing campaign

If you are like me and have been keeping up with  the new 52, you will have seen this everywhere
